By booking services with Reynolds Moving (“we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Services Provided
Reynolds Moving provides residential and commercial moving services including loading, unloading, and basic furniture protection.
2. Estimates & Pricing
- All quotes are hourly-based unless otherwise stated in writing
- Final cost is based on actual time worked, materials used, and services performed
- We do not guarantee exact move times due to variables outside of our control
3. Minimum Charges
- A 2-hour minimum applies to all moves
- After the minimum, billing is in 30-minute increments
4. Fees
- Supplies Fee: Covers furniture pads, stretch wrap, tape, and related materials
- Additional fees may apply for:
- Long carries
- Stairs
- Heavy or specialty items (over 300 lbs)
- Additional trips if everything does not fit in one load
5. Specialty & Heavy Items
Items such as safes, pianos, gym equipment, or items over 300 lbs may incur additional charges. These items must be disclosed prior to the move.
6. Packing
If packing services are requested:
- Items will be properly packed to avoid damage
- Reynolds Moving is not responsible for damage to items packed by the customer
7. Customer Responsibilities
- Ensure all items are packed and ready unless packing services are scheduled
- Provide accurate inventory and disclose specialty items
- Ensure clear access at both locations (parking, elevators, etc.)
8. Damage & Liability
- We take great care to protect your belongings using pads and floor protection
- Basic coverage is provided at $0.60 per pound per item
- Reynolds Moving is not responsible for:
- Pre-existing damage
- Items packed by customer
- Damage to items not properly prepared for moving
For additional coverage, third-party insurance is recommended.
9. Payment Terms
- Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed
- We accept cash or card (3.5% processing fee applies to card payments)
- No checks accepted
10. Cancellations & Rescheduling
- Please provide at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling
- Deposits (if applicable) may be non-refundable depending on job requirements
11. Delays
Reynolds Moving is not responsible for delays caused by:
- Weather
- Traffic
- Customer readiness
- Building or access restrictions
12. Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to refuse or stop service if:
- Conditions are unsafe
- Items were not disclosed
- Payment terms are not met
13. Website Use
By using our website, you agree not to misuse or attempt to disrupt our services.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted with a new effective date.
